President Hussein sends letter to Iraqis, all free people

Baghdad, September 4 

President Saddam Hussein has sent a letter to the people of Iraq and through them to all people of the Arab Nation and all free people in the world. 

The following is the full text:

In the name of God, the most merciful,

The most compassionate

Once more we say: if you want to gain victory, you should start with yourself. Yes with yourself first and before any step to use the materials in the environment which you control or you think that you control it…and before you start to convince others on the possibility of victory, convince yourself and strengthen your faith in victory to the extent of absolute sureness that no wind could shake and now power could sway or eliminate it from your heart, after depending on God.


Victory is faith inside the hearts, and when it becomes a faith it become immune against confusion created by the surrounding environment including kinds of weapons and technical means that your enemy possesses, media, false news and the psychological confusion which is created by your enemy. God will bless your faith, then you will have a permanent feeling that God is near you, far from your enemy, strengthening your side and making your as a leading light that rapidly spread to shine into the hearts of others. Then the fire of your enemy will be extinguished and he will be in the dark unable to find his way to
save himself from your victory upon him.

Yes ..this is the beginning of victory, to add to this, you should not search for victory in the hearts of men on your side, but feel victory in yourself first and fortify it with these values. Because the men on your side (your supporters) are a lot in confrontation. Things in life and their titles are also a lot around you and are contained by your land and that of your enemy and by all that you and your enemy deal with on the level of the planet earth. People’s temperaments differ being on your side or on the side of your enemy. Other states, with you or against you, have their schemes, objectives and interests which could be right or wrong. And all this, as you see, is a large perspective along with plans deriving from ideas, desires and intentions, some are logical, while the others are not according to one's opinion.

Could one triumph only with his mind? Could mind only manage to order thinks according to wishes only?  While doing that needs men and their rifles in relying on a specific plan, the mind alone may be restricted to contain all that and respond to each question correctly.

Man is capable of bearing in mind things many times within seconds, and determines his capability, but he can't use his mind to know all other people's deep feelings inside or outside his country. He cannot determine all things, feelings and interests between two powers by his mind only. He also can not realize all what happens around the world. But through his faith and sureness and through getting victory within himself he would know all facts about both sides of equation whereby he would know the world too.

All that would come around him like a spotlight coming out of faith, which would lead to victory.

On this base, triumph in the glorious Qaddissyia battle and all other battles has been achieved and by faith we could win victory despite all burdens and went on away from mummified titles, spirits and their bureaucracy.

When we memorized our titles then we were thinking of them as a means to apply principles and honor of responsibility as it was inherited from our past generations. These means have come brave, trustful, sacrificing and willing to get victory in defending the faith. By this way responsibility get rid of heavy things surrounding. Then the faith makes victory.. and as the ordinary soldiers and the pedigreed revolutionists sacrifice themselves for the sake of their nation when the circumstances require that, we go ahead, and according to some people’s viewpoint we ventured everything: by titles, son, present, future, power or others to achieve victory after depending on God Almighty, and we totally believed that victory is surely ours regardless things, desires, plans and powers on the other side. Through this sureness and faith, after depending on God Almighty, we won victory and we will win victory at last in the battle of Um Al-Ma’arik, God Willing.
